A skydiver was flown to a hospital Wednesday morning after making a hard landing in DeLand, officials said.The SkyDiver was reported down around 9:45 a.m. in the area of 10th Avenue and Gardenia Road in DeLand. Officials said the skydiver was initially spotted by a passerby. The Volusia County Sheriff's Office said it appears the skydiver landed in a tree and then dropped to the ground from there. His injuries were not considered life-threatening, deputies said.

A skydiver was flown to a hospital Wednesday morning after making a hard landing in DeLand, officials said.
