Astonishing footage has captured the moment a winning greyhound was wiped out by a feathered intruder during a race.
An Adelaide dog track played host to extraordinary scenes on Saturday as Loceryl was sent tumbling by a rogue duck that had found its way onto the dirt.
'I was more worried about getting him back to the kennel house to make sure he was OK and wasn't injured,' Loceryl's trainer Rebecca McAuley-Fry told The Advertiser.

The bizarre clash occurred during the 400m Race 10 at the Gawler Greyhounds on Saturday night.
Loceryl can be seen flying along the outside of the pack as they round the corner for the home straight, before he tumbles out of screen.
The bird can then be seen flapping away as the greyhound finds his feet and continues running.
'It was a freak thing to happen but he's happy and pulled up really well,' Ms McAuley-Fry said.
Greyhound Racing South Australia released a statement on the incident post-race explaining both the animals were well.
'An incident occurred in Race 10 at Gawler last night (Sunday) wherein a low-flying duck collided with a runner in the race — Loceryl, for trainer Rebecca McAuley-Fry — as the field approached the home turn,' the statement said.
'Neither the dog nor the duck were injured as a result of the collision.'
The race was surprisingly given the 'all clear' and clearing the circumstances of the race.
Greyhound Racing SA are conducting a review of the incident.
